That’s why we focused on the lag. You know that annoying gap between flipping the switch and the lamp actually hitting peak heat? We’ve worked to kill that delay. The fight against “cold spots” Rotary machines have a brutal, fast rhythm. If a lamp takes its sweet time warming up, you’re going to see it in the bottles. You get uneven walls or those dreaded cold spots that ruin a batch. To fix this, we tweaked the quartz mix and the way the filament is shaped. It cuts down the thermal inertia. In plain English: the lamp hits its target wattage faster. Whether you’re starting the machine up for the day or tweaking a cycle on the fly, the response is just snappier. Hardware that actually fits There’s nothing worse than a “replacement” part that requires a workaround. Our lamps are true drop-ins. We matched the electrical footprint of the original SIG and SACMI specs exactly, so you don’t have to worry about frying your power supplies. We also use high-purity quartz. It’s tough. A quick heads-up on maintenance Here’s the trade-off. These lamps push a massive amount of energy into a very small space to get that fast response. It works great, but it puts a lot of stress on your oven reflectors. If your reflectors get oxidized or dirty, the heat doesn’t go into the bottle—it bounces right back into the lamp. That’ll kill your tube’s lifespan fast. Keep them polished. Seriously. A strict cleaning schedule is the only way to stop your lamps from basically baking in their own heat.
