We use damp-heat aging tests to try and break the product on our floor, so it doesn&amp;rsquo;t break on yours.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The battle against steam&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Here&amp;rsquo;s the thing: water vapor and high-wattage heating elements don&amp;rsquo;t get along. At all.&#xA;In a bathroom, steam and condensation try to sneak into every little gap in the housing. If that moisture hits the electrical terminals or the quartz tube&amp;rsquo;s seal? Boom. Short circuit. Or, more likely, the lamp just burns out way sooner than it should.&#xA;That&amp;rsquo;s why we put every batch through &lt;a href=&#34;https://henruite.com&#34;&gt;cycles&lt;/a&gt; of oppressive heat and humidity. We push the gaskets and coatings to their limit. We want to know that the IP rating is actually real, not just some random &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.com&#34;&gt;number&lt;/a&gt; we printed on a spec sheet.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;Dealing with the shock&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Infrared lamps are intense. They go from room temperature to scorching hot in a few seconds.&#xA;When you add moisture to that mix, things get risky. We look for &amp;ldquo;crazing&amp;rdquo;—those tiny, invisible micro-cracks in the glass. A lamp might look perfect in a dry lab, but it could shatter once it hits a damp environment. By &amp;ldquo;aging&amp;rdquo; the units in the wet, we make sure the housing and the seals expand and &lt;a href=&#34;https://o-yate.net&#34;&gt;contract&lt;/a&gt; at the same rate. No surprises.&#xA;&lt;strong&gt;The trade-off&lt;/strong&gt;&#xA;Now, there is a catch.&#xA;When you seal a heater up tight to keep the water out, you&amp;rsquo;re also blocking the airflow. You get a waterproof unit, but you lose some of that natural cooling for the internal wiring.&#xA;Because of that, you&amp;rsquo;ve got to be smart about your circuit breakers and wiring gauges. If you don&amp;rsquo;t account for the heat buildup inside that &lt;a href=&#34;https://goldisgood.com&#34;&gt;sealed&lt;/a&gt; chassis, you might actually melt your own housing during a full-load run.&#xA;We give you all the data on those thermal limits. That way, you can set it up right and just let it do its thing.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
