It&amp;rsquo;s an expensive mistake you can&amp;rsquo;t afford to make.&#xA;That&amp;rsquo;s why we don&amp;rsquo;t just throw some heaters at the problem. We build custom infrared (IR) lamp arrays that actually cover the whole surface.&lt;/p&gt;&#xA;&lt;h2 id=&#34;killing-the-gaps&#34;&gt;Killing the Gaps&lt;/h2&gt;&#xA;&lt;p&gt;Here&amp;rsquo;s the thing about standard IR heaters: they usually leave gaps at the edges of the reflectors. On a massive rocket part, those gaps turn into &amp;ldquo;thermal stripes.&amp;rdquo; Not good.&#xA;To fix this, we overlap the radiation cones. We figure out the exact beam angle of each quartz tube and offset the brackets so the heat patterns bleed into each other. It basically creates a solid blanket of heat across the entire part. No stripes, no surprises.&lt;/p&gt;</description>
